Enable built-in filters


 

So you downloaded the latest release of your web browser... is the phishing filer enabled? It's easy to check. Simply go into your browser settings and search for the phishing filter option. Make sure it's enabled, if not enable it!

Below are the general instructions on how to enable the Phishing Filter in Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.

  1. Click on Tools and then select Internet Options
  2. Click on the Advanced tab at the top.
  3. Scroll down until you see "Phishing Filter"



  4. Select "Turn on automatic website checking" and then click Ok.
  5. Click on Apply and then Ok.

The phishing filter is now active.
